Manifesting Dreams (Thoughts Become Things)

IMG_4404

The most valuable skill or talent that you could ever develop is that of directing your thoughts toward what you want. –Abraham and Esther Hicks

Today is a day that I will demonstrate what it means to manifest dreams at its core. With a few major moves in the works in my personal life, as well as my career, I am believing in my visions of greatness for myself, and I’m owning the idea that I deserve every bit of it.

As of late, I’ve been on a roll with making my dreams come true. I’m starting to adopt the idea that I am a “MANIFESTATION MASTER”. What I mean by this is that I have long ago discovered my own formula for allowing my dreams to come true. And more recently, I have begun to master this formula, and I’ve pretty much gotten it down to a science. What I’ve discovered along the way is that my personal formula is something that can work for anyone else, aside from a little tweaking to remedy one’s own obstacles to success. Once you discover what it is that keeps you from pursuing your dreams, then you can come up with solutions that could ultimately counteract those thoughts and set you on the path to living your dreams.

A good example of this from my own experience has been my fear of not having enough money. This has been a long held fear as I grew up in a single parent home, where although my family was always well kept and provided for, my mother would often have the hardest time keeping a steady flow of income coming in as an entrepreneur. When I was a child, I was always intensely aware of what was going on emotionally within the people around me. I guess its where I developed a strong sense of empathy for others as I was always able to put myself in their shoes since I could always somehow tap into their energy space. The feeling was even more intense when it came to those I love. As I watched my mother worry about how things would get done and how bills would get paid, I developed that same sense of fear within myself that there just wasn’t enough money to feel safe to do anything outside of surviving. It wasn’t until I was introduced to the concept of the “Law of Attraction” as a teenager that I began to realize how infectious and paralyzing this “lackful” mindset was, and how it had subconsciously kept me from being my best self.

But with any belief system, its not something that just changes overnight. Beliefs are just practiced thoughts that become true for a person over time with enough repetition. I realized that in order to live the life I dreamed of living, I would have to rid myself of those crippling thoughts of “not enough.” I began to address these thoughts by introducing new ones through affirmations, such as, “All of my needs are met,” “I am safe where ever I go,” and “The solutions to my problems always show up on time.” With each new thought introduced, I would find ways to support those thoughts with action whose results would help solidify them as true in my experience. The more I practiced this new way of thinking and supported action, the more confident I became that life was much less scary then I once envisioned it to be. And with this exact concept, you can do the same… WITH ANY CRIPPLING THOUGHT!

It’s still an ongoing process. However, after years of practice, I’ve managed to find myself in a space where I’m able to catch those kinds of thoughts in their infancy stage and completely discredit every aspect of it before I allow it to affect my decision making… Pretty cool huh?! I know, but you can do it too!

I find that through this process, I am able to walk the Earth with confidence and declare that all that I desire can and will be mine with enough courage, work, will, faith, and fight.

And this my friends is how I manage to get out of my own way and manifest my dreams. There are a few more aspects that I can address later, but I hope something here resonates with you. If so, drop me a line below or shoot me an email at bcstarkspr@gmail.com.

Tending to Spirit: The POWER of Focusing Within

love-hearts-live-hd-wallpapers-2-6-s-307x512 I feel so blessed to have this platform to share my passion of council/and coaching. I’m grateful to the many people whom I’ve had the privilege of crossing paths with throughout my journey, and the many lessons that I continue to learn from our interactions. Its funny because so often many of us take these interactions for granted, failing to see the beauty that pours from them because we are too busy focusing on everything surrounding them, rather than what is going on inside ourselves as a result of them. What i know for sure is that if we are open to allowing ourselves to become more, and to constantly improve our life experiences, we can contribute so much more to those around us.

When we take our attention away from the noise and distractions of the outside world (and the people in it), we give ourselves room to reflect on our own inner processes, such as what  makes us happy, what causes us pain, what makes us feel appreciative or appreciated. It has been written and uttered by the GREATS throughout the history of mankind, that man’s greatest task in life is to KNOW THYSELF. It is only through inner reflection, and the willingness to heal pains of the past and evolve, that one can change his own reality, and ultimately make a difference in the lives of others.

When we find ourselves in situations where we somehow feel that we were mistreated or wronged in some way, the greatest gift that we can give ourselves is the opportunity to make any experience less about another person, and more about what you can NOW do with a newfound awareness of self. This means that one should focus as often as possible on how their own thoughts, feelings, and actions may have somehow contributed to such an interaction. This is not to say that one should find fault within himself for something that occurred. However, it is to say that no one has the power to affect you in any way that you don’t allow them to. And as we now know, and have come to accept from the GREAT Sir Isaac Newton’s Laws of Motion,

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

This notion of knowing thyself has less to do with religious beliefs and theories, and everything to do with understanding that we are all physically interacting with one another as we live life on EARTH, and as result, we are constantly exchanging messages through our actions and words.  Life’s interactions are all about the balance of give and take. When we learn to take the focus from any and everything outside of ourselves and learn to go within to uncover the true meaning behind our choices (whether it be past hurts and joys, or pride and shame), we empower ourselves with the tools to walk the face of the EARTH with confidence and reassurance that we are indeed “Masters of our fate, captains of our souls.”

Another great thing about inner focus is that when we give ourselves room to have stillness and peace, we allow ourselves to recharge and approach any situation with a clear mind and more positive energy. Oftentimes we are so used to “reacting” to everything around us, typically out of emotion. But we all know that most decisions we make based on emotions are usually not the greatest. That’s because emotions are like the waves of the ocean, they are fickle and constantly change from one moment to the next. However, when we take all focus from the outer world and redirect it within, we allow ourselves to attract better outcomes from a less emotionally charged perspective, to a more serene and peaceful state of being. And we all have experience with this kind of phenomena. We all know how it feels to walk away from a person or thing until we feel better about the subject, only to realized that it turns out so much better when you do your own inner work.  Now that’s what true POWER really is!

Most recently, I stumbled across this audio track of one of my favorite Universal Law of Attraction teachers Abraham and Esther Hicks on the subject of focusing within. Please check it out and drop me a line (comment). I’d love to hear from you!

[Disclaimer: Language such as “Vortex,””Source Energy,” and Vibration are used instead of Spirit, GOD, and energy because the teachings have less to do with religion and EVERYTHING to do with understanding the human psyche and experience. Please look past the literal language and allow yourself to be open to new lessons.]

Namaste,

True Soulmates and Expectations

Soulmate

Hey there lovies!! I’ve pretty much spent the past week and a half on an adventure. That’s right, I’m doing what I call “gettin’ me some life”. And its been ahhhmazing so far. The the thing I love most about travel and quiet time is that you learn so much about yourself and it gives you time to reflect on whats really important. Which brings me to the topic of relationships…

A few weeks ago I came across the image above on Instagram and I could sooo relate. I’m such a firm believer in relationships shaping and molding us into who we are supposed to be. That is, if we can avoid becoming resentful and bitter by looking beyond the surface of things and finding the lessons instead.

A Course In Miracles presents the idea (also described by author Marianne Willamson in “A Return To Love”) that soulmates are merely a spiritual assignment given to us by God to face the parts of ourselves that we would often ignore otherwise. And contrary to common belief about just who a soulmate could be, ACIM presents the idea that every single relationship that we have in life, whether romantic, platonic, familial, etc… we are all soulmates here in this lifetime interacting with one another for the purpose of somehow advancing mankind towards its original source. LOVE !

Sounds like a bit much to swallow, I know. I thought the same thing.  But as I began to reflect on my life’s journey and started to look back for the beauty of even the most dreadful situations, I realized that they all contributed to the woman I am today. The best version of me yet! And like fine wine, I get better with time… and so do you!

Relationships have taught me that when we are forced to be vulnerable in our interactions and peel back the layers of ourselves that can sometimes be embarrassing and even quite painful to bear, we allow our true transformation to occur. And by embracing that transformation with peace and gratitude, we send signals into the Universe that indicate that we are ready for the next great lesson that will bring us closer to our true selves: the infinite, loving, limitless, all-powerful, and masterfully created spirits that God created us to be.

But when we don’t embrace that transformation; when we are resentful and bitter because things went awry or we refuse to accept our our own or another’s growth and evolution; we find ourselves stuck in a pattern of what seems to be the same relationships replicating themselves through different people and interactions. And we’ve all been there!

The great news is that it doesn’t have to be that way. A mere shift in awareness and the dedication to allow yourself to patient with your  life’s process, as well as respecting the life process of others changes everything. You’ll become so good at this until one day you will realize just how much of a co-creator of relationships you truly are. Then finding the soulmate of your dreams becomes that much more possible.

On that note, check out this phenomenal video by one of my favorite authors Abraham and Esther Hicks on finding a soulmate and the power of expectation. Super inspiring!

Letting go of fear

The thing that holds us hostage and continuously paralyzes us into a state of unproductiveness is a four letter word. F-E-A-R. It’s what dreams deferred and a loss of hope are made of. And if you aren’t careful, it can ruin your life.

No matter what area of your life you allow fear to dominate, it’s quite noticeable that you just can’t seem to get very far. This is probably true because you’ve been dedicated to telling yourself things about your reality for a lifetime, until you eventually begin to believed that they are true.

In the words of Esther Hicks,” A belief is just a thought that you keep thinking until you believe that it is true…” In doing so, you’ve somehow convinced yourself that you don’t have what it takes to do, be, or allow whatever images of happiness, joy, and abundance that you have imagined for yourself.

And you are absolutely right! Thinking from a source of “not-having,” only sets you up to kill your dreams before you can even give them a try. That is, as long as you continue to allow these patterns of thought to dominate your life experience.

Fear is born out of the idea that you are lacking something, and because you believe that you are lacking whatever the “thing” is, you keep yourself moving forward.

But the truth about life is that we are all born with everything that we need within. That means that you are already whole and perfectly complete as you are. But until you start believing this to be true, you are keeping yourself from the kind of life that you wish, the kind of life that the Creator has intended for you to have.

When you can learn to stop giving your attention to your “temporary” reality [Pause: I use the word “temporary” because that’s just what life is, and so is every single moment in it.] …and begin to train yourself to believe that even the things that you cannot see are possible, you will be exercising what most religions are based on; FAITH.

It’s the same concept that the old Christian saying emphasizes, “…walk by faith, and not by sight.”

In other words, you can practice letting go of fear just by telling a different story. Whatever negative thoughts you are believing to be true, tell yourself a thought that is equally opposite, or at least closer to being optimistic, and do it often. Do it until you begin to believe it.

It may seem silly at first, especially if you are the type who has to see it to believe it. But even the things that you see are selectively chosen. Hence, why two people in the same place at the same time, will have two different stories to tell about the same instance. Remember that perception and perspective are key here.

Use every opportunity that you can to take action towards the things that you are wanting and hoping for. So what if you’re not there yet? If you do something each day that is in alignment with what you are wanting, eventually your reality will become what you once imagined. And that is what we call “living a dream.”

Anything worth having requires hard work. And that even includes training yourself to think differently. Let’s tell a new story and watch miracles unfold.

BCSTARKS, over and out! 🙂
